Meet Your Practitioners –

Dr. Viken Garabedian, DDS – Dr. Garabedian received his undergraduate degree from UCLA in 1982 and graduated from USC Dental School in 1986, finishing his curriculum six months in advance. In 1989, he moved to Laguna Niguel.

Dr. Garabedian always enjoyed cosmetic dentistry and did his first full veneer case in 1988, long before the procedure became popular. His compassionate nature and vast skills make all patients, new and old, feel safe and confident when under his care.

His other great passion is the volunteer work he does abroad. He established a clinic and a teaching facility in an orphanage in Armenia in 1994 and spends two to three weeks there every summer, teaching local dentists and taking care of the less privileged.

Yael Cohen, RDH – Ms. Cohen’s romance with dentistry began in 1981 when she worked as a part-time dental assistant and she has been in the dental office ever since. She was born in Israel and came with her family to the United States in 1980. Ms. Cohen received her undergraduate degree from UCLA and completed her dental hygiene school at USC.

Dentistry is not only Ms. Cohen’s work, but it has also been her passion for the last 25 years. She is proud of her ability to treat her patients with the utmost professionalism, integrity and friendliness. She is warm and caring and every patient is important to her.
